The invention relates to a nail drill comprising an electric motor with a shaft and a handle connected thereto, as well as a connecting element between the power tool and the handle.

The first object of the invention concerns such an apparatus that can be used equally well in both directions of rotation.

In this case, the power tool is rotationally symmetrical concerning a rotational axis and has a spindle of a universal swivel head that can rotate around its longitudinal axis. The handle additionally comprises an axle having a first end and a second end which is located more remote from the shaft than said first end, which extends through the first end of the said axle to connect to the power tool.

The handgrip comprises a hollow spindle sleeve which is coaxially arranged on the second end of the axle and adapted to enclose that axle completely. A first ring clamp can be screwed onto the first end of that axle, whereas a second ring clamp is mounted rotatably on the first end of that axle. The second ring clamp is provided with a borehole which is coaxially arranged about an axis of rotation and is designed to receive the first end of the axle to be fixed thereon.

According to this invention, it comprises a spindle having an exterior screw thread that can be screwed onto the connecting element. Moreover, a borehole is provided in the handgrip which can receive that spindle, and a holder for a nail cartridge with a cylindrical clip-on opening is mounted rotatably on the second end of said axle.

The nail drill is a device used to drill nails into various surfaces. The nail drill rotates special drill bits that replace standard nails or screws.

A power cord attaches to the device, and it turns on when the user pulls the trigger. In addition, there are two speeds for which users can adjust according to their needs: high speed and low speed.

How to Use a Nail Drill

1) Keep your nail drill in its original case when not in use.

2) Plug the power cord into the power source and press down on the trigger to turn it on.

3) Hold onto your handle with one hand, keeping your grip secure around the rubberized area near the trigger.

4) Press the tip of your drill bit against what you are working on, and once it’s in place press down on the trigger to rotate it clockwise.

5) When this process is complete, turn off your nail drill by pressing down on the trigger again. Unplug your power cord to turn it off completely.

6) Press the tip of your drill bit against what you are working on, and once it’s in place press down on the trigger to rotate it clockwise.

7) When this process is complete, turn off your nail drill by pressing down on the trigger again. Unplug your power cord to turn it off completely.

8) Keep your Nail Drill in a safe place with the power cord wrapped around it, or store it in its original case when not in use.

Routinely dust and clean the exterior of your nail drill to keep it working at an optimum level for as long as possible.

Gel polish has a similar viscosity to jelly. It adheres to nails and should not be applied over traditional nail polishes as it will damage the polish underneath. Gel polish does not need a UV lamp, but you can use one if you like (some people would rather cure their gel under the light and not have to deal with removing the gel from their nails before applying a topcoat for example). Gel polish does not need to be placed into the refrigerator as traditional polishes do, but some gel brands will benefit from being cooled as it thickens the viscosity of the polish making application easier. Once cured, gel polishes are just as hard wearing as traditional nail polishes and can have 5-7 days chip-free wear per application.

Applying gel polish is very similar to applying traditional nail polish, with a few key differences.

  • Start by applying a base coat to the nail surface. This will help the polish adhere to the nail and will also help to keep your nails healthy.
  • Apply a thin layer of base color to the nail with a brush applied from the cuticles up. You will want to make sure that you apply the color evenly, so take your time and be careful not to apply too much polish at once.
  • Cure the polish under a UV Light until you see the light change from purple to pink. This is when you can remove the film with gel cleanser or alcohol before it cures (cure time varies depending on the formula).
  • Apply 1-2 coats of glitter, topcoat, or another color of choice and cure under a UV Light until you see the light change from purple to pink.
  • Cleanse with gel cleanser and water.
  • Use a lint-free pad soaked in 70% isopropyl alcohol to remove residue for a truly clean finish.

What tools and supplies do I need for gel polish application?

A wide range of tools and supplies can be used to apply gel polish depending on the preference and needs of the individual. The main thing that you will want to have is a UV lamp, however, if you don’t feel that this is necessary then it will not be required. You can choose to simply cure your polish under sunlight or under a lamp that emits natural light instead of using UV lamps that are specific for nail applications.

  • Gel Polish (Pick your favorite color!)
  • Base Coat (Topcoat is optional depending on the brand)
  • Cleanser (Gel Cleanse, Soak, or Alcohol)
  • Lint-free pads (cotton balls, swabs, etc.)
  • Tweezers and orange sticks for nail art/manicures can be helpful as well.

All gel polishes will come in a jar or bottle with a wire brush attached to the lid or cap and these bottles will need to be stored in a cool place. You will want to make sure that you do not cap the bottle after removing it from the lamp as this can cause some of your product to cure and dry out before there is any chance for you to use it on your nails.

How do I remove gel polish?

– Gently file away gel polish from the surface of the nail using a 180 grit or higher (200-400) coarse grit nail file. Do not use a metal nail file as this can create micro-tears along the nail plate which cause weakening and lifting at the corners of your nails.

– Soak cotton pads in gel cleanser and place them on nails for 2 minutes. you will want to make sure that the cotton is only soaked with a gel cleanser and not dripping with it.

– Remove cotton pads with orange sticks or tweezers and use a 180 grit or higher (200-400) coarse grit nail file to gently file away any excess product from the surface of the nails.

– Cleanse nails with an alcohol-soaked lint-free pad.

– Apply Hand & Nail Cream to soften cuticles and moisturize dry skin on hands.

It’s important to remember that gel polish formulas vary from brand to brand. Always make sure to read the instructions provided by your chosen gel polish and familiarize yourself with the curing time required (this can vary by color or even brand).
